We produce very long PCBs up to a length of 1185mm. that is 1.185 metres from 1 layer to up to 8 layers. Such PCBs are mainly used in the Lighting Industry, Automotive, Aeroplane, Health and Safety.
If you compare a long PCB with several shorter ones, you will notice that the shorter PCBs have to be connected with connectors. This can lead to electrical contact errors. To eliminate these sources of error, long circuit boards are preferred. The assembly of longer PCBs is cheaper and the installation is easier.
